CP1 Cable Pro Cable Tester Overview:
- Tests all possible combinations to verify correct, missing or miswired connections and takes only 1/10th of a second to test 75 pins to each other
- Versatile Cable View software allows users to reconfigure the Cable Pro to test a completely different connection scheme with only a few on-screen clicks
- Cable Pro connects to one end of the cable to be tested while the built-in logic probe is used to probe the other end; the CP1 provides visual and audible pin number annunciation, as well as verbalized plug number, pin number and/or pin description
- The Cable Pro can be mated to the cable with a simple adapter for a complete end-to-end test
- Portable design allows the Cable Pro to be used on site or it can be affixed to the work bench with built-in flanges
- After testing each pin to every other pin, the CP1 generates a complete report that documents passing tests and detailed error information to aid in the process of reworking failed connections
- The included Cable View software is intuitive and easy to learn, making it very easy to generate configuration files in manual or learning modes
- Charges via a USB port
