The Metadata AIS, black box modules is a series of plug-and-play devices delivers next-generation AIS technology. It is easy to install into any vessel and features advanced navigation performance. The Metadata family includes a dual-channel AIS reciever, Class B AIS transceiver to send and receive, and an innovative metadata zero loss AIS antenna splitter. Each unit has a compact design ideal for flexible installations for providing advanced AIS functions for chartplotters, radars, onboaded PCs, and types of electronics.
This MDA-1 class B AIS transceiver unit (Generation Pilot # MDA-1) has 2-watts of power, HI-AIS, and build-in GPS antenna.
